Subject: One more time

Selfishly using up water, poisoning the grounds and polluting the air the plantations have dictated how we live for more than a century.

To accomplish their goals they developed the art of community manipulation, pitting one group against another. We saw that recently with Honolua. Maui Land and Pine displayed its expertise in this developed skill.

en in what might be their last breathes they are attempting once again to pit neighbor against neighbor. Embattled in claims over title to large areas of land on the west side and looking like they have no leg to stand on they are attempting to build support by turning stakeholder on stakeholder. Just like they did with Honolua. This time they are going to use the hunters.

Tuesday at 5:00 in Honokohua (Kapalua) they will be holding a meeting of selected hunters and offering them use of the area in contention and authorizing them to be the police of the area. Even offering them the ability to kick people out! Use your imagination with this one.

Remember how they used the kupuna to buy a 1/40 interest in  kuleana in Honolua bay and then used it against the families claiming ownership? They lost.

Now they want to use hunters against the families who own the land. They will lose again. The hunters know the true owners have and will always recognize their rights to gather.

MLP should stand up and settle their problems without using others as shields.

 Aloha
