Ruth to Parker Here you can read the deed that Maui Land and Pineapple, then Baldwin Packers recorded at the Bureau of Conveyances as their claim to title for lands on Maui. This deed conveys several parcels. They are listed by island. The island of Maui is just a little more than half way down on the second page. You will see that the area of Honolua is not included or mentioned here. It is not mentioned anywhere in this document. This document does mention the ahupua’a of Honokahau. However Ruth did not own Honokohau.
